We had our first Kendo Kyu exams at Fudoshinkan and I am happy to announce that all paricipants passed their gradings. Please, go on in your great effort to build up your Kendo and form your personalities. A warm “Thank You” goes to our collegues from Kendo AZS Gliwice who visited us and examined the gradings: Sensei Magdalena Bidzińska Kendo 3 Dan, Sensei Piotr Bidziński Kendo 3 Dan, Sensei Karol Jędruszek Kendo 2 Dan, Sensei Maciej Mentel Kendo 2 Dan and Sensei Szymon Piotr Piechulla Kendo 2 Dan. Gratulujemy naszym studentom IAIDO Marcowi Kuboszowi (3. Kyu Iaido) i Sylwesterowi Mateji (4. Kyu Iaido) zdania wczoraj egzaminu. Mieliśmy okazję przystąpić do wspólnych egzaminów z AZS Gliwice. 

Dziękujemy komisji egzaminacyjnej w składzie: Sensei Magdalena Bidzińska 5 dan, Sensei Piotr Bidziński 5 dan, Sensei Günther Uttendorfer 3 dan, Sensei Bartłomiej Wróbel 3 dan i Sensei Dawid Gmerek 3 dan za wykorzystanie swojego doświadczenia w ocenie zdających egzaminy.

Dziękujemy także Sensei Magdalenie Bidzińskiej i Sensei Piots Bidziński za wieloletnie wsparcie w kształtowaniu i poszerzaniu naszej umiejętności i wiedzy o Iaido.

When you are the proud owner of a dojo of your own, you get chances – and challenges…

After a long day of elections for the Polish Kendo Federation´s leading board, the men´s “Polish National Kendo Team” decided to do a keiko at Fudoshinkan Dojo. Top level kendo! Lots of fun – and me? Amongst all of them – having so much fun and…being beaten – of course. But that is not what it is all about. I got so much input, positiv critisism and tips for my future kendo practise it´s hard to keep in mind. Thank you so much guys! A special “thank you” goes to Alina Gdeczyk – it is amazing to watch you doing kendo amongst all those guys. see gallery

Members of Fudoshinkan Kendo / Iaido from Tarnowskie Góry. We were able to observe and practise high level Kendo under the eyes of Jana Ziegelheimerova Sensei – 6 Dan Kendo and Tibor Bárány Sensei – 7 dan Renshi. Thank you very much for this great oportunity to forge our techniques and our minds!
