Yokokan keiko with special guests
Last Sunday morning I had the honour to once more participate at a Yokokan training. This time with some special guests: Sensei Rafał Jaśtak Kendo 5 Dan. Sensei Michał Jaśtak Kendo 4 Dan and Sensei Julian Górski Kendo 4 Dan. Thank you very much Sensei Przemysław Szymiec for your permanent efford to make my humble kendo better than it is and for giving me the oportunity to practise with you, your students and your guest kendoka. Sensei Julian Górski Kendo 4 Dan / 12.02.2022
It was agreat pleasure to welcome our friends from Kendo Dragons Club Wrocław for keiko. Sensei Julian Górski, Kendo 4 Dan, provided the keiko with great enthusiasm and gave us a multitude of input to improve our kendo. Of course, Jigeiko must not miss in a good keiko – so we had some nice fighting training together at the end of the workshop. We finished the day with – as one of Julian´s sensei called it – a “Zanshin Party” at our local pizzeria with cold beer and some shots of whiskey… Thank you very much Julian Sensei ! We wish to welcome you and your students soon again. For more photos, follow the link below.
New Nafuda for Fudoshinkan Kendo Team
Finally, we have a unique outfit of our Nafuda. Nice embroidery on dark blue fabric with Kanji for our club name “Fudoshinkan”, Katakana for given names and Romanji for the family names – just the way they ought to be… 🙂
